If you haven’t yet completed your Health Risk Assessment or Biometric Screening, now is the time to take action.
In 2016, the employer contribution into your health savings account (HSA) is based on the completion of two healthy actions:
Action 1: By completing the online health assessment, you can earn an HSA contribution of $200 for employee only coverage or $400 for all other coverage categories by completing the online health assessment.
Action 2: Complete a biometric screening and you will earn an additional HSA contribution of $200 for employee only coverage or $400 for all other categories.
The amount of the employer contribution is prorated for midyear enrollees. The employer contribution will be deposited into your HSA the month after you complete the healthy action.
