What You Must Do During Open Enrollment
- You must enroll in medical plan coverage for 2019. Your current 2018 medical plan elections will not carry over.
- If you want to contribute to a health savings account (HSA) or a flexible spending account (Dependent Care and Health Care FSA) beginning with the first paycheck in January, you must take action and enroll.
What You Can Do Only During Open Enrollment
- Enroll, change or cancel your benefits coverages
- Add or remove dependents from your current plans
* If you have a qualified life event, such as marriage, birth, divorce, loss of spouse’s employment, you may be able to make the changes to your benefits coverages outside of Open Enrollment. Email benefits@hireright.com for additional information.
What You Can Do Anytime During the Year
- Enroll, change or stop your HSA contributions
- Enroll, change or stop your commuter benefits (pre-tax parking and transit) contributions
- Enroll, change or stop your 401(k) Plan contributions
- Enroll, change or stop your auto, home and pet insurance contributions
